We will have some shop hop exclusive fabrics (a new panel and 3 beautiful new tossed prints as well as reprints from previous years) that has been used by each shop to make unique shop hop quilts. Photos of the quilts will be published on this site, under Shop Quilts, beginning the first day of the hop.
If you've never been to see us, here's a little information about the shop itself as well as some landmarks and directions to help you find us. B&B is a full service shop located just south of Austin in the growing town of Buda. Our friendly staff is always ready to help you with your quilting needs. We stock over 7000 bolts of fabric, comprised of Civil War reproductions, a color wall made up of solids, textured solids and tone-on-tone prints, a wide selection of batiks and prints and collections of beautiful lines from a number of our favorite designers such as Kim Diehl, Edyta Sitar, Tilda, Tula Pink, Pam Buda, Judie Rothermel, Tim Holtz and more. Our walls are covered with samples to inspire you and most often there are other quilters sharing their work or starting a new project, so come join the fun. Inside you will be greeted by friendly and knowledgeable people and find a wide selection of fabrics and other quilting essentials. We love to share the art of quilting, so working with quilters year round is a pleasure for us.
You will find us nestled in a quaint neighborhood in one of the original subdivisions of Buda. The City of Buda Municipal Complex with offices and the library are across the street from us on the corner of Main and East Loop Streets. This is a great landmark if you are looking for our shop for the first time as we are right across the street. Turn north on East Loop Street and you will find us a block off of Main on the left hand side of the street. Look for the sign with a large blue star quilt block on a white background. You can't miss it.
